Sprint has announced that they will offer Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread update forthe Sprint branded Samsung-made Nexus S 4G handset from Monday, July 25th. The open OTA access will be available later today. T-mobile and AT&T users need to wait for couple of days.
The Android 2.3.5 update is designed to speed up 4G connect. Some WiFi bugs are also repaired in this new version Android OS. Sprint users will get a new replacement component for 4G usage. These will make Nexus S 4G hold a more powerful function.

How to Install Android 2.3.5 update on Nexus S 4G
Note that this tutorial will help just you upgrade frome Android 2.3.4. If you are using Android 2.3.3 now, you may need to refer this tutorial about how to update to Android 2.3.4.
Step 1. Download Android 2.3.5 update file then rename it to “update.zip”.
Step 2. Move the “update.zip” file to SD card’s root.
Step 3. Reboot your phone
Step 4. Once it starts booting up >> hold down Volume Up + Power button >> then select Recovery
Step 5. The phone will now reboot in Recovery mode. But once you see an exclamation point and a triangle, mash the Power and Volume Up buttons a few times until the recovery screen shows up.
Step 6. Then select “Apply sdcard update.zip” and wait for the phone to process the update www.itgeeg.com
Step 7. Finally reboot normally and you should now on Android 2.3.5
