We introduced the Tegra 3 processor days ago. It can provide high performance with low power consumption. Now, there are rumors show quad-core smart phones will be available in 2012. The rumored quad-core smart phones include HTC Edge and Casio’s new product.
HTC Edge — HTC Endeavor — HTC Supreme
The 3 names describe only one smart phone. HTC Edge is the first rumored quad-core smartphone. The news from phoneArena said it will adopt 1.5Ghz Tegra 3 processor. 1G RAM, 4.7 inch 720p SLCD2 display, 8 MP camera and run on Ice Cream Sandwich and Sense 4.0. But new rumor says HTC renamed Edge to Endeavor.
And information shows this smartphone will be released on MWC with the name “Supreme”.
Casio’s quad-core smartphone
Casio is going to expand their international cell phone market.
Their products includes G’zOne Ravine, Ravine 2 and smartphone G’zOne Commando. But all these product are not so popular. Now they are going to take actions to change this situation.
Rumor said Casio’s new smartphone will use Tegra 3 quad-core CPU, 4.5 or 4.7 inch display, 8MP main camera and 2MP camera on the front. The new product will support 4G LTE network and NFC function. It will run on Android 4.0.
