Canon 46 MP Full Frame Camera EOS 3D in Testing

Rumors of a high megapixel DSLR from Canon have really been heating up after 2012 Photokina meeting. The most recently news showed Canon is developing a high megapixel Full Frame camera and its model will be unveiled in Oct.

Nikon D800 is very popular for its 36MP resolution sensor. But the new Canon EOS 3D rumored to weigh in at a whopping 46MP . . . that’s 10MP more than the current resolution king – the Nikon D800.

Performance is said to be on the level of medium format, even better than the impressive D800.

The new EOS 3D will support 5fps, 16 bit RAW photo. ISO: 100-12800. And it will support HD video recording.

However, most same type  full frame camera need 3 years develop. Even this rumor turns true, we will still need to wait for 1-2 years to get the final EOS 3D product. Before that, the Nikon D800 is no doubt the king.
