After the Instaprint, the D2M team bring us another great product: the Instacube Digital Photo Frame for Instagram. This photo frame is only for Instagram.
The manager from D2M design dept, John Whaley, is a Instagram user. He was annoyed by the process of checking Instagram photos. He is not satisfied because viewing pictures should start Instagram app and the narrow screen can not present a good picture quality. When he found there are many other Instagram users also complain about these, Whaley decided to make some change. Then, the Instacube appears.
Compared to other traditional digital photo frame, Instacube uses Round icon design just like Instagram uses. There are 3 button on the top. They are uses for login to Instagram, switch picture viewing mode or add favorite pictures to Like list.
Except for the fresh design, Instcube has more powerful hardware specification:

- 600 x 600 pixels resolution touch screen
Your parlor and bedroom are the best area to place the Instacube. With the cute shape, it will let you relax.
According to D2M’s description, the Instacube has a rechargeable internal battery which can support a whole day pictures display. However, this time is much shorter than many other products. This weakness makes Instacube disappointed me.
Since the first appear on Kickstarter from 21th, Aug, Instacube get more than $100,000 the first day. D2M announced that the Instacube will be shipped Q2 of 2012. The first 1000 supporters will get this product by only $100. Others will get it by $150.
