A Holland Samsung Galaxy Note user Devin Balentina announced on twitter that he have received the official Android 4.0 OTA update remind. He also posted a screenshot of the OTA firmware update request.
The screenshot suggests the Galaxy Note ICS upgrade package is about 318.89MB volume. The Premier Suite package include S Note app and S Memo Widget are all upgraded to a new version. It will also send a compatible TouchWiz UI.
There are many Germany users in XDA forum also announced they received this message. It’s a good news for Galaxy Note owners. This message means Samsung Galaxy Note (N7000) can enjoy the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the nearly future. But users out of Europe need to wait few days before the can download the official Android 4.0 update. It will take few days for Samsung to roll out Android 4.0 update all over the world. As usual, owners of Galaxy Note locked with network carriers will have to wait a while longer, as the update will have to pass carrier testing as well.
